Those who have experienced the northern lights describe it as magnificent, multi colored lights moving across the sky. Living in the southern part of the United States, I have never seen the Aurora Borealis. Every few years, the local weather service will mention the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights from my area. I always stay up late hoping to witness it myself. I usually take a blanket outside and make myself comfortable. Then I sit and wait — focused on the horizon and hoping for a glimpse of this unimaginable phenomina.
It would be easy for those of us living this far south to dismiss the notion of magnificent, multicolored lights floating across the sky. But even though I’ve never seen it, I believe it is out there, somewhere. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
